Covid-19 claims another 33 lives

KUALA LUMPUR – Another 33 Covid-19 fatalities were recorded yesterday, taking the country’s death toll to 35,160.

Ten of them were brought-in-dead (BID) cases.

According to data from CovidNow and Github, the highest fatalities were recorded in Selangor with eight deaths.

Perak reported six deaths, Kedah (four), and Sarawak (three), while Johor, Kelantan, Negri Sembilan, Pahang and Perlis with two deaths each.

Penang and Kuala Lumpur reported one death each.

BID cases were reported in Perak with two cases, Sarawak and Kelantan with two cases each, and Negri Sembilan, Pahang, Penang and Perlis with one case each.

In the past two weeks, 14 Covid-19 deaths were reported per million people in Malaysia with Perak the highest among the states with 34 deaths per million people.
